About:                         

Beauty therapy consists of  a series of  Beauty treatments performed, which includes:  Facial Skin care (Aesthetic or Cosmetic), Body massage, Make up application, Nail care and Hair removal.  Beauty therapist also need to be willing to sell facial products to clients and have experience how to accommodate clients.

 

Careers: 

Beauty therapists can work in salons or spa’s. The opportunity to work with Aesthetic doctors or giving training in the Beauty Industry is also available.

 

Qualifications:

A candidate needs to have a Diploma in beauty therapy.

Candidates with International Qualification of CIDESCO and ITEC is highly recommended to clients.

Beauty therapist that offers experience in the industry also adds value to a potential new position.

 

 

Hair Stylist

About:

Hairstylist work with customers to give them Haircuts, Style their hair, apply Hair Coloring (including Highlights and Lowlights) and provide Scalp treatments.  They advise clients about Hair care techniques and sell Hair products to clients for their Hair-type and -condition.

 

Careers: 

Hairstylist can work in the Entertainment industry, at salons or spa’s, or

 at Cosmetology schools giving training.

 

Qualifications:

Hairstylists needs to have a Diploma 2 or 3 in Woman’s Hairdressing.

City & Guilds accreditation is highly recommended by Skill Recruitment to be recognized Internationally in the UK Trade Test .

Nail therapist

About:

Nail therapists needs to have the ability to do Acrylic -, Gel – and Gel polish nail sets. The technique of Sculpting nails and doing Nail art

is not compulsory but is beneficial for a business, when certain clients requires that.

 

Qualifications:

Nail course complete in:

Acrylic overlay

Gel overlay and Gel polish  

Experience is the key of success in any industry
